WELCOME TO THE WHOLE MOM CIRCLE
A supportive, virtual space for mothers navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the Birth of The Mother
The circle is NOT a self-help group. It's an educational space where you can connect with other moms and providers, ask questions, access trusted resources, and receive guidance, all created and moderated by a perinatal mental health professional.
Mothers Are Told To Find A Village...But Often Feel Alone
Pregnancy focuses on prepping your body for labor and delivery, but very little time is spent preparing you for the emotional and mental health shift of postpartum:

Sleep Deprivation
Identity Shifts
Overwhelm
Unanswered Questions

This leaves moms searching for answers and support online, in Facebook groups, online forums, or scattered resources, which leads to poorer mental health outcomes and isolation.

The Whole Mom Circle was created to do something different. We fill the gap in care that begins at the 6-week clearance mark, and provide moms with exactly what they are searching for.

This is For Moms Who...
• Feel excited about motherhood AND, a little overwhelmed by the transition
• Want a supportive space to ask questions and connect with other moms
• Are navigating sleep deprivation, identity shifts, or emotional ups and downs
• Want access to trusted resources and professionals without having to search endlessly online
• Prefer a space that is supportive and informative without feeling overly clinical
• Want to feel validated in what you're experiencing during pregnancy or postpartum
• Believe motherhood should come with more education, support, and community
Our Founder
Dr. Nicole Kumi, PhD, PMH-C
The Whole Mom Circle was created from a place that many mothers know well. When I entered postpartum, I realized something quickly: while there is so much preparation for the birth of the baby, very little prepares a woman for the birth of the mother.

I remember searching for support and not knowing where to go. I found myself in the wrong online spaces, struggling to find the right providers, and carrying feelings of stigma and shame that delayed the support I needed.

As I began working in perinatal mental health, I heard the same story from countless mothers:
"I didn’t know where to turn."
That experience is exactly why I created The Whole Mom Circle.

This community exists to provide mothers with a safe, supportive space to connect, ask questions, and access trusted resources during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Because when mothers feel informed, supported, and understood, everything about the transition into motherhood begins to change
