Jillian Hopkins

Perinatal Transitional Coach

Growing up and navigating an eating disorder, a traumatic childhood loss, grief and anxiety, Jillian decided early on in life that she was going to pursue a career in the mental health field. With a Bachelors degree in Psychology from The University of Miami, and a Masters Degree in School Psychology from Queens College, Jillian is a mental health professional, working with adolescents who struggle with significant anxiety, depression and other social emotional difficulties. After becoming a mom in 2021 and suffering from postpartum anxiety and being diagnosed with PMDD, Jillian decided she wanted to focus on maternal mental health and become an advocate for moms everywhere. She has a certification in nutrition and is also working towards her perinatal mental health certificate. Jillian’s goal is to educate, empower, and support overall wellness through her coaching with a “whole mom” approach. You can find her on Instagram as she documents her own chaos with two little boys at @jillypresley_

Text Support and Weekly Check-in's

Jill is passionate about working with moms at each stage of their postpartum journey, to help validate their feelings and assist them in transitioning on throughout this journey.  Jill is bringing a unique background to us at The Whole Mom and understands that working full time and raising your children can leave little time for you to invest in yourself.  Our goal is to meet moms where they are and Jill falls right in line with what she is going to be offering to our moms.

Jill will be offering daily text support and weekly check-in's to the moms who are short on time, and probably patience too, but still want to focus on their growth as they navigate the postpartum period and motherhood in general.  Moms are always strapped for time, and as a result, tend to fall off of their daily to do list. We understand how challenging it can be to navigate a new role, and do this with minimal support or focus on your own growth.  This service is a short and sweet way for moms to spend some time on themselves each week, reflecting on their wins and challenges, while getting support from a perinatal transitional coach.

Caryl Cabrera, LCPC

Perinatal Transitional Coach

Caryl L Cabrera is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and brings over twelve years of clinical experience to the world of perinatal coaching.  Caryl specializes in helping soon-to-be-mothers be more prepared logistically, mentally and emotionally as they approach their delivery date and transition into motherhood.   Through perinatal coaching she provides encouragement, validation and support, which have a significant impact on mothers' mental health.

Caryl has been trained through Postpartum Support International and has gained specialized knowledge on aspects of mental health as it applies to perinatal well-being.  Coaching in this space aligns with Caryl’s passion of increasing awareness of maternal mental health and reducing stigma of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD), which affects new moms.  This partnership helps mom get acquainted with the “new you” that now includes being a mom and helps navigate through all the ups and downs the Fourth Trimester brings.

Caryl received her Bachelors in Psychology at University of Maryland College Park and completed her Masters at Johns Hopkins University in Clinical Community Counseling.  For fun, Caryl enjoys salsa dancing, attending cultural events, “retail hunting” and spending time with her family…especially with her 2 boys.
