Preparing for Motherhood
When I was preparing to adopt my daughter Emmalee, I read all the information I could get my hands on. I went out of my way to talk to other parents. I read all the brochures and literature I could find. I visited numerous websites and read account after account from moms in my situation. I wanted to be prepared. I wanted to know all I could know before my child came home to me. I had been down the road to motherhood once before, but my son was almost ten years old and I feared I had gone rusty.
